What this recall means for you
Some wheels on certain 2023 EQE vehicles may have rim inserts that can come loose and detach while the vehicle is being driven. The notice does not describe the cause; it identifies the problem as the inserts separating from the wheel rims.
If an insert detaches while driving, it can create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Owners should be alert to any unusual wheel-area noise, vibration, or visible damage to the wheels.
An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will inspect the rim inserts and replace them as necessary, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed April 25, 2025. You can contact Mercedes-Benz USA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 (recall number 2025030016), and you can check your VIN for open recalls at NHTSA's website.
