Ford Maverick Recall 25V123: Dashboard May Not Show Warning Lights or Gauges

NHTSA campaign 25V123, reported February 28, 2025, 933 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The instrument panel cluster in certain hybrid vehicles may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges. These vehicles were previously repaired incorrectly under an earlier recall, and as a result they do not meet several federal motor vehicle safety standards covering controls and displays, transmission shift sequence, and related safety requirements.

An instrument panel that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash because the driver may not notice important changes in the vehicle's condition.

Dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 9, 2025. You can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, referencing recall 25C06, and you can check your VIN for open recalls.
