NHTSA campaign 24V890, reported November 25, 2024, 632 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2024-2025 Winnebago Ekko motorhomes may have been built without the wheel bolts needed to secure the spare tire. A spare tire installed without the correct bolts can come loose and detach from the vehicle while driving, which increases the risk of a crash.

Winnebago will mail you the correct wheel bolts and a wrench for the spare tire at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 23, 2025. If you have not received one, or have questions, contact Winnebago customer service at 1-800-537-1885 and reference recall number 193.

In the meantime, check whether your spare tire is secured with the proper bolts, and check your VIN for open recalls at NHTSA.gov or with a Winnebago dealer.
