Land Rover Range Rover Sport Recall 24V380: Transmission May Shift to Neutral, Causing Power Loss

NHTSA campaign 24V380, reported May 31, 2024, 20 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The transmission oil pressure can drop, which may cause the clutch to shift into neutral. When this happens, the vehicle can lose drive power while you are driving.

A sudden loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash. If your vehicle loses power unexpectedly, especially in traffic, it may not accelerate when you need it to.

Authorized dealers will inspect the transmission and replace it if necessary, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed July 25, 2024. You can also contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837, and check your VIN for open recalls.
