What this recall means for you
Certain 2021-2023 Winnebago Ekko motorhomes may have a blind spot monitoring system that can fail without warning to the driver. When the system is not working, the driver may not be alerted to a vehicle in their blind spot, which can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy is free. Authorized dealers will install a new blind spot monitoring system at no charge to the owner. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 16, 2024. If you have questions, you can contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.
You should also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls, and do not rely on the blind spot warning alone while driving; check your mirrors and look over your shoulder before changing lanes.
