What this recall means for you
The parking lights on certain vehicles may flicker when the headlights are turned on. This happens because of a problem with the lighting control module, and the affected lights do not meet federal lighting standards.
Flickering parking lights can reduce how well other drivers see your vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash.
Dealers will update the LED driver module software at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed January 19, 2024. For questions, contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall 23C36. Owners of vehicles with high series headlamps previously recalled under 22V-686 that received an incomplete remedy, or were never repaired, will need the new remedy completed.
