Toyota Tundra Recall 23V757: Incorrect load capacity label can lead to overloading

NHTSA campaign 23V757, reported November 9, 2023, 534 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra trucks have a load carrying capacity label that states the wrongload limit. Because the label shows an incorrect figure, the vehicle can be loaded beyond what it is designed to carry. The vehicles also do not fully meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 for tire selection and rims.

An overloaded vehicle is more likely to be involved in a crash. Owners should be careful not to exceed the correct load limit while this recall is open.

The remedy is free. Southeast Toyota Distributors will mail a new, corrected label at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 18, 2023. To request a replacement label or ask questions, call SET customer service at 1-866-405-4226 and reference recall number SET23B. You can also check your vehicle identification number for open recalls.
