If the hazard lights flash incorrectly, other drivers may be confused about what your truck is doing, which raises the risk of a crash. Owners can reduce that risk by making sure the recall is completed promptly.
An authorized dealer will update the software that controls the hazard warning lights at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2023. You can also contact Daimler Trucks North America customer service at 1-800-547-0712 (recall FL851), and check your VIN for any open recalls.
