Autocar Xpeditor Recall 23V019: Sun Visor May Block Roof Clearance Lights, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 23V019, reported January 23, 2023, 445 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The external sun visor on certain Xpeditor trucks may obstruct the roof-mounted clearance lights. Because the lights can be partly hidden, the vehicle does not meet federal lighting requirements, and reduced visibility of the vehicle's outline to other drivers may increase the risk of a crash.

The remedy is free. Authorized dealers will remount the roof-mounted clearance lights above the sun visor. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2023. You can contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611, and you should check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
