Subaru Impreza Recall 22V624: Headlight Reflectors May Not Reflect Enough Light

NHTSA campaign 22V624, reported August 12, 2022, 188,397 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2017-2019 Subaru Impreza vehicles have side reflex reflectors and a left-side low beam reflector that may not adequately reflect light. As a result, the vehicles do not meet federal lighting safety requirements.

Reduced reflection makes it harder for drivers to see and be seen, which increases the risk of a crash, especially at night or in poor visibility. If your Impreza is affected, the manufacturer will replace the front headlamp assemblies at no cost at an authorized Subaru dealer. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2023. You can also contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614 (recall number WRG-22), and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
