What this recall means for you
Certain Keystone travel trailers and fifth wheels may have the solar controller incorrectly wired. This can cause some components, including carbon monoxide and propane gas detectors, to stop working.
When these safety alarms are inoperable, owners have less warning of carbon monoxide or propane gas hazards, which increases the risk of injury.
Authorized Keystone dealers will inspect the voltage readings and correct the wiring as needed, at no charge to you. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2022. For help, contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 (Keystone recall number 22-423), and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
