- Autocar, LLC is recalling certain 2019 Xpeditor vehicles up-fitted with an aftermarket power take off (PTO). These vehicles may stall or hesitate when operated from the right side stand up position with the PTO system engaged.
- Risk
- A stall or hesitation can cause the vehicle to drift backwards, increasing the risk of a crash, personal injury ,or property damage.
- Remedy
- Autocar will notify owners of the recall on October 19, 2020. Dealers will install a hill start aid system, free of charge. Autocar issued owners an interim notification on October 20, 2020. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611 or 1-877-973-3488. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2005.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2019 Autocar Xpeditor trucks that have an aftermarket power take-off (PTO) installed may stall or hesitate when the PTO is engaged and the vehicle is operated from the right-side stand-up position. A stall or hesitation can cause the vehicle to drift backwards.
This drifting increases the risk of a crash, personal injury, or property damage. If your truck has an aftermarket PTO, be aware of this risk and contact an authorized Autocar dealer or Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611 or 1-877-973-3488 to confirm your eligibility.
The remedy is free: an authorized dealer will install a hill start aid system at no cost to you. Owners were notified of the recall starting October 19, 2020, and an interim notification was sent October 20, 2020. Check your VIN for open recalls, and reference Autocar recall number ACX-2005 when you call.
