NHTSA campaign 19V458, reported June 14, 2019, 11 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 and GLE 450 SUVs may have a passenger-side frontal air bag that deploys late or does not fully deploy when the cabin is very hot and a crash occurs. The air bag inflator module is the affected part.

An air bag that does not deploy as intended can increase the risk of injury to the front passenger in a crash. If your vehicle is affected, the dealer will replace the passenger air bag module at no cost to you. All affected vehicles are still in the manufacturer's control, so dealers have been notified to make the repair.
