What this recall means for you
Certain 2019 RAM 1500 vehicles equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen display and base-level heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system do not have a functioning windshield defrosting and defogging system. The manufacturer, FCA US LLC (Chrysler), will notify affected owners, and the repair is free at an authorized dealer. Dealers will repurchase the affected vehicles. Owners can contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403, referencing recall V12. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
