What this recall means for you
Some 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class vehicles with LED headlights may have misadjusted headlights. The low beams may not sufficiently illuminate the roadway, which means the car does not meet federal lighting safety requirements and you may have less visibility at night or in poor conditions.
Reduced road illumination can increase the risk of a crash, since you may not see hazards, pedestrians, or road features as early as you should.
Mercedes-Benz USA will notify affected owners. Dealers will inspect the headlamp adjustment and correct it as needed, free of charge. You can contact Mercedes-Benz USA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 for more information, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
