What this recall means for you
Some Autocar Xpeditor trucks from the 2012 through 2016 model years, built between September 2011 and October 2015, may have hybrid power drive unit cradle mounting bolts that were not properly tightened. Over time these bolts can loosen, allowing the power drive unit and drive shaft to detach from the vehicle.
A detached drive unit or drive shaft can become a road hazard for other drivers and increases the risk of a crash. If you own an affected vehicle, contact Autocar customer service at 1-765-489-5499 and reference recall number ACX-1605. The remedy is still under development, so ask Autocar when a repair will be available.
You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls, and watch for updates on when the free repair becomes available at an authorized dealer.
