What this recall means for you
The tire certification labels on certain 2010 Heartland trailers may list inaccurate tire size and/or inflation information. An owner who relies on that label to inflate the tires could end up with tires that are under- or over-inflated, which can lead to a tire failure or crash.
If your trailer is one of the affected 2010 Heartland models, Heartland will notify owners, and an authorized dealer will install a replacement label with the correct information at no cost. You can contact Heartland customer service at 1-574-266-3988. Until the label is corrected, check your tire manufacturer's specifications for the correct size and inflation pressure rather than relying on the existing label.
You can also check your VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website to confirm whether your trailer is covered.
