What owners report
The liftgate in the back of the car every time it rains. It opens by itself because of the button in the very back that can open the lift gate. Is it waterproof and water keeps leaking in? And it keeps making it worse and worse. And then it keeps opening up. While I'm driving, and it's extremely unsafe, and like it opens up like 5 minutes after I close it for no reason. Like it starts opening it up. When I start the car, it starts opening it up. When I do this and I it just opens up randomly especially when I'm driving, or if I'm parked right behind someone, then the liftgate's gonna hit something or something's gonna fall out. Same passenger airbag issue as what everyone else is reporting! A recall is needed again for this!
My airbag light has remained on, uninterrupted, for over about one month now. I had the fault code read by an independent shop and they informed me that the fault was the occupant sensor for the passenger seat (BodySense front passenger seat occupancy sensor mat). They also informed me that this was the subject of a recall. Recall 17V-133/AMA2. I contacted a Porsche dealer as to the problem, made an appointment and took the car to the dealer. The dealer informed me that the recall on this part had already been completed.
