The contact owned a 2013 Nissan Titan. The contact stated the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V188000 (Air Bags) however, the contact's husband was driving at 55 mph, where the driver saw a deer in the road and swerved in order to avoid hitting the deer but the vehicle hit a driveway covert which caused the vehicle to flip several times and hit a utility pole. THE 2013 NISSAN TITAN RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF. STARTED THIS YEAR SOMETIME IN MARCH AND HAS CONTINUED THROUGH THE YEAR. IT WILL START BACK UP WHEN YOU PUT THE TRUCK AND NEUTRAL AND TURN THE KEY BACK OVER. AND WILL RUN LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME IT SHUTS OFF WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP LIGHT, STOP SIGN. IT IS RANDOM AND MAY ONLY HAPPEN ONCE A WEEK OR COULD HAPPEN 3 TIMES OR MORE A WEEK. ALSO IT HAS WENT UP TO 3 WEEKS AND NOT SHUT OFF. THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN WINSTON SALEM LOOKED AT IT AND KEPT THE TRUCK FOR A WEEK AND DROVE IT. IT DOES NOT THOUGH ANY CODES AND WAS NOT FIXED. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. IT HAS CUT OFF ON MY KIDS AND I WHILE GOING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION. I HAVE NO

WHILE ON A ROAD TRIP TO TENNESSEE, 1.5 HOURS AWAY FROM OUR DESTINATION WE STOPPED AT A GAS STATION. WE TOOK THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION OF THE TRUCK AND THE TRUCK KEPT RUNNING. ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS ALSO CAME ON AT ONCE. WE COULD NOT TURN THE CAR OFF BY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR KEPT THE CAR RUNNING. A CHECK OF THE COMPUTER AT AN O'REILLY AUTO PARTS DID NOT SHOW ANY COMPUTER WARNING CODES. SINCE WE DID NOT WANT TO BE STRANDED 8 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME, WE DECIDED TO DRIVE BACK HOME. WHILE ON THE FREEWAY, THE TRUCK'S ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. WE HAD NO POWER STEERING OR POWER BRAKES. WE WERE ABLE TO GET IT TO THE SHOULDER AND RESTART THE TRUCK. WHILE DRIVING IT OFF

RAW GAS SMELL EXISTS INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR TO THE TRUCK. DEALER SAYS A LEAK HAS DEVELOPED IN THE FUEL LINE. DEALER WANTS $1200 TO $1500 TO REPLACE GAS LINE. THE LEAK MAKES THE TRUCK TOO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. OTHER TITAN DRIVERS ARE REPORTING THE SAME PROBLEM ON THE INTERNET. NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS DECLINED TO HELP SAYING THEY ARE UNAWARE OF PROBLEM. MY CONCERN ARE THE SAFETY ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH GASOLINE LEAKAGE.
