My 2023 Nissan Rogue with the 1.5L VC-Turbo engine has repeatedly displayed the “Engine Malfunction Power Reduced Service Now” warning, causing reduced engine power and creating a safety risk when accelerating or merging into traffic. We took the vehicle to the dealership to have the ECM reprogrammed (which the recall suggested), but the issue has persisted. According to the Nissan Certified Technician, the vehicle has diagnostic code P210B, and the dealership recommended a valve replacement costing approximately $5,000. Given known engine defects affecting certain Nissan VC-Turbo engines, we are concerned the dealership is addressing the symptoms rather than the underlying problem of

I am reporting repeated loss of engine power and subsequent engine failure involving my 2023 Nissan Rogue SV equipped with the 1.5L VC-Turbo engine. On February 3, 2026, at 151,975 miles, Nissan of Boerne performed recall R25D1 and campaign PA447. In April 2026, World Car Nissan documented an engine malfunction complaint accompanied by forward and rear collision warning lights. In May–June 2026, at 163,589 miles, Nissan of Boerne confirmed trouble code P2564 and diagnosed a turbocharger wastegate stuc

A professional inspection and pressure test by a certified technician (Repair Order #38473) revealed that the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler completely failed to hold pressure. As a direct result of this internal component failure, coolant drained entirely from the reservoir and rapidly flooded Cylinder 2. The coolant cross-contaminate

The transmission froze and my car became immovable while driving. Towed it to nissan and they said water has spelled near the shift liver. The cupholders are located right next to the shift lever, and if that’s going to cost the car to freeze while driving, it seems some sort of protection would’ve been a good idea in that area.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. While driving at 45 MPH, the engine experienced reduced power and hesitated while accelerating. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the dealer on several occasions, and the throttle body, HVAC air intake and refrigerant, mass airflow, intercooler pipe, battery, idle air control (IAC) valve, rack and pinion, serpentine belt, and pressure sensor were replaced, and the 3-part fuel system was cleaned; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic, who determined that an unknown part needed to be replaced again. The manufacturer was notified of the failur
