The Power tailgait opens but wont close, gives two beeps
This is original Goodyear Eagle Touring tire on 2025 Lexus RX 350. It M+S 235/50R21 101V. There were no low tire pressure alerts before the blowout. I was entering a ramp of a freeway (XXX in [XXX]) and suddenly heard a loud noise. Unfortunately due to ongoing construction there is no shoulder or curb in the stretch of the road. Also it was dark; about 4:30AM. As a result I had to drive some a couple of miles before I could exit and part safely. By that time tire was shredded and wheel damaged. While driving on the highway, the right rear fender trim piece detached from the vehicle. It could be seen flying off in the mirror. Itâs likely that the trim piece wasnât properly secured during the vehicleâs manufacturing process. It could have hurt someone driving behind me.
