What owners report
This has been a contiuned issue with not only the Alpine but Montana as well. Especially with Front Slide outs. The unit is cracking at the lower front frame of the slide out. Causing dangerous cracks to the inner frame. The unit is over flexing and therefore causing the Welds to break , which will cause the walls to crack and you could end up with extreme damage. My unit ended up with $20,000 worth of damage. I was lucky my insurance paid it, but at that time we did not know that it was a frame issue. It was not until after the fact and after it was repaired that if it were known that it was a frame issue the unit would not have been covered. Therefore we would have had to pay out of
The frame is cracked above the spring hangers.
