WE OWN A 1996 JAYCO EAGLE 244SL TRAVEL TRAILER. ON THE FRONT OF THE TRAILER IS A STORAGE AREA WHICH IS MADE OF ABS PLASTIC. LAST YEAR, WE DEVELOPED A CRACK IN THE LID FOR THE STORAGE AREA WHICH IS ALSO MADE OF ABS PLASTIC AND A CRACK IN THE ABS PLASTIC WHCIH FORMS THE STORAGE AREA. ALL THE CRACKS ARE DEVELOPING FROM EITHER WHERE A POP RIVET OR A SCREW WAS PLACED IN THE ABS PLASTIC. THE CRACKS APPEAR TO BE SOME KIND OF STRESS CRACK WHICH IS CAUSED BY THE IMPOPERR DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF THE STORAGE AREA. OVER THIS PAST WINTER, ANOTHER CRACK DEVOLPED IN THE LID OF THE STORAGE AREA. IT APPEARS THAT THE STORAGE AREA IS FALLING APART WHICH COULD CAUSE DEBRIS FROM THE TRAILER TO BE DISCAR
THE REAR PART OF THE TRAILER CAUGHT FIRE WITHOUT ANY WARNING. CANNOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK *YC
METAL RETAINER CLIP THAT HOLDS THE WIRING IS SHARP AND PENETRATES THROUGH THE WIRING, CAUSING AN ELECTRICAL SHORT/ VEHICLE TO BURN. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
