TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 ITASCA MERIDIAN RV. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 60 MPH WHEN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE AWNING SLIDE COVER STARTED TO DETACH FROM THE MOTOR HOME. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WERE ALSO INOPERABLE. IN ADDITION, THE BOLTS THAT ATTACHED THE HOUSING TO THE CHASSIS WERE MISSING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE SCREWS MISSING FROM THE SIDE REAR AWNING. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE BOLTS ON THE AWNING, THE CHASSIS AND THE WINDSHIELD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND FILE A CLAIM. THEY OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,900.
