What owners report
Engine stalls at idle or at takeoff (low throttle input) randomly 5 time over 7 weeks, twice caught it in a turn and was able to throttle through. Honda motorcycle is DCT automatic - no manual clutch. may get rear ended, or caught in oncoming traffic when making left or right! Random can't be duplicated I tried for 15 minutes! UNKNOWN Didn't think to look at dash lights to see if traction control intervened and cut power?? However issue may (?) be a result from a left turn from a stop across light road oil strip that caused rear to step out and traction control intervened (little heavy handed on throttle) upon retrospect, 5000 mi. before intervention, weeks before first stall, or idle c
i was riding the motorcycle and the DCT transmission got stuck in 5th gear and would not shift up or down. This is evidently a common issue as i googled dct stuck in gear and all kinds of hits came up. This is very concerning for me as i was riding and could not accelerate or decelerate. I called Honda and they told me that they have never delt with this issue before.
