After getting caught in rain the all gauges,(speedo/tach, fuel, voltage), stop functioning. Have seen this happen to multiple Harley Davidson Road Glides.
After getting caught in the rain the left switch assembly goes out affecting the cruse control and the clutch switch the cruse can come and go also the vehicle can be started in gear and lunge forward

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,000. *TT CONSUMER STATED CLOSE CALL ACCIDENT DUE TO LACK OF TURN INDICATORS SIGNAL STILL WORKING) NO OTHER GUAGES WORKED.*JB

AFTER SITTING STATIONARY IN RAIN OVER NIGHT, NO GAGES WERE WORKING (SPEEDOMETER, CRUISE CONTROL, DIMMER SWITCH, TACHOMETER, FUEL GAGE, NOR AMP METER). DIAGNOSED AS SPEEDOMETER SHORTED OUT. WHEN SPEEDOMETER REPLACED, ALL OTHER GAGES WARE OPERATIONAL.
