What owners report
Original Abs module has failed, brakes are inoperable. Iâm a retired technician and performed the fluid exchange with new fluid myself. The system still failed and left me without brakes. I donor trust the bike anymore but feel that the public is wanting to purchase the bike at an extreme discount.
LOSS OF REAR BRAKES, REAR BRAKE PEDAL IS HARD AS A ROCK NO BRAKING WHAT'S SO EVER IT FRONT BRAKES ARE FUNCTIONING!! ABS EQUIPPED BIKE POSSIBLE ABS MODULE FAILURE. 18000 MILES. WAS RIDING MOTORCYCLE AND WAS APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION APPROX. 45 MPH AND UPON APPLYING THE REAR BRAKE THE PEDAL WAS HARD AND THE BRAKES WERE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO SLOW THE MOTORCYCLE DOWN AND I HAD TO USE THE FRONT BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE.
ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON THEN MOTORCYCLE GOES INTO LIMP MODE, NO THROTTLE RESPONSE LOSES POWER, VERY DANGEROUS WHEN IN HEAVY INTERSTATE TRAFFIC OR ANY ROADWAY FOR THAT MATTER
