I HAVE MANUFACTURED AND CERTIFIED (PER FMVSS-218) MY OWN MOTORCYCLE SAFETY HELMET AND THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALL OF THAT HELMET. I STILL GET STOPPED AND CITED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR A VIOLATION OF THE HELMET LAW. THEY STATE I WAS WEARING A "NON-DOT APPROVED" HELMET. DOES DOT APPROVE HELMETS? IF NOT, THEN PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH DOCUMENTATION THAT I CAN PROVIDE TO LAW ENFORCEMENT SO THEY WILL STOP CITING ME. *TR
