What owners report
On June 5, 2025, while driving eastbound on Interstate 20 in Louisiana between Ruston and Monroe, the awning unexpectedly deployed while the RV was in motion. This sudden deployment posed a significant threat to myself, my passengers, and other motorists. Fortunately, no collision occurred, but the awning was destroyed, and the RV exterior sustained visible damage including multiple scratches. I verified that the awning was fully retracted and properly latched before departure. This incident appears to be the result of a possible equipment failure or manufacturing defect. I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate this matter as a potential safety defect that could affect other RVs
