I am reporting a safety hazard and a failure by Ford Motor Company to properly remedy the mandatory Takata Airbag Recall. Following the recall repair, a technician reassembly error left the airbag warning light permanently illuminated, meaning my Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) is completely disabled and will not deploy in a crash. All metal shards came flying out of it causing multiple lacerations. He also lost consciousness from the impact and I was told by hospital ER doctor the airbag was defective and he was suffering from a very serious concussion.
