Engine is the 2.7 Ecoboost and is becoming louder and louder with many ticks and sounds whether you are driving or idling the vehicle at a stop light. Every morning the engine ticks and revs very high and emits huge billowing white smoke from the exhaust whether itâs warm or cold outside. Believe the engine is needing to be replaced in the upcoming recall from ford for the exact engine.

This truck has the problem known as the âdeath wobble.â I bought the vehicle from Johnson City Ford in Johnson City Tennessee after they said they had inspected it and everything was fine on the truck. It was used so I bought the extended warranty. The truck started shaking so violently I couldnât drive it. I took it back to this Ford place. They replaced the universal joint under my warranty. I left didnât get it home and it started again shaking. I took it back to them and they confirmed the death wobble and said there were no recalls and they want 3600 dollars to fix the problem. I called Ford corporate and they said there were no recalls or programs to help with this
