The local dealer was contacted. The dealer informed the contact that parts were no longer manufactured. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
WINDSHIELD WIPER CLEANING AREA LEAVE A LARGE UNTOUCHED AREA 12-14 INCHES BETWEEN THE BLADES; DURING HEAVY RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS. IT IS BAD ENOUGH THAT I CAN NOT SEE THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF HWY. AND HAVE DIFFICULTLY SEEING THE ROAD AS I DRIVE AROUND RIGHTHAND TURNS. THE CLEAN AREA HEIGHT IS ONLY BARELY EYE LEVEL(I'M 5' 4") WHICH MAKES SEEING SIGNAL LIGHTS DIFFICULT. I FEEL THIS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN I CANNOT SEE THE WHOLE ROAD WHEN I DRIVE IN POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS. O'CONNOR'S RV (MY RV DEALER) IN CHILLIWACK,B.C.,CANADA, HAS CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, FLEETWOOD; THEIR REPLY WAS THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL BE CORRECTED ON THEIR 2012 MODELS.
