Lionshead castle rock ST225/75 R15 passenger side front tandem axle tire blew on our 2021 forest rive east to west alta travel trailer while traveling in the middle lane on interstate 95 in Florida, 45 minutes into our trip. We have only put approximately 3,700 miles on these tires. There was nothing in the road, all proper maintenance has been conducted including tire checks and with proper air pressure maintenance prior to each trip. When the tire blew we heard a loud sound and immediately changed lanes and pulled off onto the shoulder. The tire is almost completely missing the center tread as though it were shaved off, then on one part the tire split from rim to rim and has metallic fiber
We bought this camper brand new on June 18 2021. Two of the four tires already have defects. One has an egg forming in the sidewall and the other has deformations forming in the tread/sidewall. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them since purchase.
