WHEN I COME TO A STOP, MY ENGINE OFTEN SHUTS ITSELF OFF. SOMETIMES WHEN I COME TO A STOP, MY ENGINE REVS ITSELF UP TO ANYWHERE BETWEEN 3,000 AND 4,000 RPM EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT TOUCHING THE THROTTLE. OTHER TIMES, MY ENGINE SHUTS ITSELF OFF WHEN I'M STILL IN MOTION AND I PULL THE CLUTCH LEVER IN. OTHER TIMES, I TAKE MY HAND OFF OF THE THROTTLE WHILE I'M IN MOTION, BUT THE ENGINE DOESN'T THROTTLE ITSELF DOWN. ALSO, MY ENGINE BRAKING WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, THE DUCATI DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY SOMEONE TIPPING MY BIKE OVER AND CAUSING THE CHARCOAL CANISTER TO FILL WITH FUEL. I TOLD THEM THAT I DOUBT THIS WAS BEING CAUSED BY A FAULTY CHARCOAL CA
