Weaker Brake Assist Can Lengthen Stopping Distance
Some vehicles with a 5.3L or 6.2L V8 engine may have a mechanical vacuum pump whose output can drop over time.
Wheel Sensor Fault Can Cause Sudden Pull to One Side
A failed wheel-speed sensor can cause the vehicle's software to activate the driveline-protection system while driving between 41 and 60 mph in four-wheel or automatic mode.
Reduced brake assist can lengthen stopping distance
Over time, the vacuum pump that supplies brake assist may produce less vacuum than it should.
