(1) WHILE SITTING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AT A STOP LIGHT IN THE CITY. I HAVE A HABIT OF NOT STOPPING CLOSE TO VEHICLES AT STOP LIGHTS. WHILE STOPPED AT THE LIGHT BEHIND A NEW LOOKING EXPLORER OF SOME KIND MY TRUCK LUNGED FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING BY ITSELF WITH MY FEET ON THE BRAKES. IF I HAD STOPPED CLOSER TO THE VAN I WOULD HAVE HIT IT VERY HARD. I READ NO ONE CAN STAND IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK WITH THE MOTOR RUNNING BECAUSE OF THIS. (2) STARTED MY TRUCK IN MY YARD. IT QUICKLY IDLE VERY FAST AND WOULD NOT IDLE DOWN. PUT IN GEAR AND IT TOOK OFF VERY FAST AND BRAKES LOCKED UP. PUT IN NEUTRAL AND TURNED OFF THE SWITCH BEFORE THE VEHICLE GOT IN THE HIGHWAY STILL TRYING TO STOP WITH THE HARD BR
TL* - THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING HER 1991 CHEVROLET S10 BLAZER WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED THE VEHICLE DECELERATES. THEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR WHILE SHE STILL HAD HER FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE DOESN'T USE THE CRUISE CONTROL ANY MORE, SHE'S AFRAID THAT THIS MAY HAPPEN AGAIN. THE CONTACT HASN'T TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED. *JB
