I leased this car Jan. 2 2025 and have now had multiple cracks on 3 out of 4 wheels on the car which has been repaired and now the right front wheel has been replaced with the tire and in the dealership again needing to replace the rear 2 wheels secondary to cracks with what BMW has told me that the front right tire needs to be replaced again which was recently replaced in april because of a cracked rim and the two rear wheels need to be replaced which I replaced the right rear wheel about 1 year ago. This is now 3 wheels and 3 tires that I have already replaced 2 tires and no impact event just normal commuting freeway driving to work and back home. In 1.5 years I had to now replace 3 wheel
While driving, the vehicle experienced a sudden catastrophic failure involving the engine and turbocharger, resulting in an immediate loss of power and the vehicle becoming disabled in an active roadway. The failure occurred without warning and required a response from the San Diego Police Department due to the vehicle being immobilized in traffic. This created a hazardous situation for the driver and surrounding vehicles. The vehicle had approximately 26,000 miles at the time of failure.
