Several months ago, my digital cluster on my 2020 330i blacked out briefly and came back on. The other day, after temporarily disconnecting the batter and correctly reconnecting, the digital cluster and driver assist items all failed. Because of this failure, I no longer have access to my speedometer, engine temperature, or engine lights in the event that something needs immediate attention. Not having the speedometer requires me to check my speed using a GPS device would causes me to divert my attention from the road which is a hazard to pedestrians and drivers alike. I also do not have the driver assist items which can result in an accident which would injure both myself and other driver
The left hydraulic engine motor mount (P/N 22117581621) completely collapsed and failed at 6 years and only 24,811 miles. The right mount was also replaced at the same time (P/N 22117581622). The failure allows unsafe, excessive engine movement and shifting under rotational torque loads. This shifting creates an immediate safety hazard, risking the sudden compromise of surrounding mechanical systems, cooling lines, and electrical harnesses while the vehicle is in motion. BMW North America acknowledged the premature nature of the failure by approving a goodwill repair for the labor costs but forced me to pay out-of-pocket for the defective parts. The engine mount issue was detected when the v

The starter was replaced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V056000 (Electrical System); however, the vehicle failed to start one morning post-repair. The message "Engine Cannot Start" was displayed. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the starter failure had caused damage to the battery. The dealer informed the contact that the battery needed to be replaced prior to the starter replacement. Additionally, the contact was informed that the trans
It was discovered during a routine check that the alternator for my 2020 BMW 330i with xdrive was dying. The car had around 40,000 miles on it. Alternator was replaced with an aftermarket part.
Good afternoon. I have called and spoken to my local BMW dealership at Grayson BMW service department many times. As of today they report no remedy and have no idea when a resolution will be available. Filing this complaint (second formal written complaint) due to lack of this not being in any sort of "timely manner." This recall is noted as an URGENT FIRE RISK WHEN PARKED for almost seven months now. I have parked the car outside and through the winter and now getting into the summer. In looking up this recall and reading associated documents, it seems there has been a remedy to many makes and models but still nothing for the 2020 330i, and no word on what to do, advisement, or timeli
