REAR BRAKE FAILURE ON ALL 2002-2003 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE AMERICA, AMERICA, AND SPEED MASTER MOTORCYCLES. IF THE BIKE HAS BEEN ON ITS SIDE FALLEN OFF THE KICK STAND OR FALLEN OVER FOR ANY REASON AND YOU GET IT BACK UPRIGHT AND PROCEED WITH NORMAL OPERATION AFTER RIDING AND PUMPING THE REAR BRAKE SEVERAL TIMES YOU HAVE A COMPLETE FAILURE. NONE OF THE MOTORCYCLES HAD ANY DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE ASSY. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO A LOT OF RIDERS I HAVE THE VEHICLE VIN NUMBERS AND THE NAMES OF THAT OPERATORS. AFTER CONTACTING TRIUMPH THEY DO NOT SEE IT AS A PROBLEM BUT AS OWNERS WE DO. WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS FIXED BEFORE SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE ANY IDEA THIS CAN AND DOES HAPPEN GETS KILLED. ONE LIFE IS WO
FUEL LINE QUICK DISCONNECTED BEGAN LEAKING WHILE RIDING. GASOLINE SPILLS ALL OVER THE HOT ENGINE AND EXHAUST PIPES. DEALER SERVICE REP SAID "THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME". FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT TRIUMPH MUST KNOW ABOUT AND SHOULD ADDRESS.*AK BY THE WAY, THIS VALVE IS LOCATED ABOUT EIGHT INCHES FROM THE RIDERS LAP.
