"The factory backup camera on my brand-new 2026 Toyota Sienna has a critically low resolution, resulting in a deeply blurry and pixelated image. The video feed is also heavily letterboxed into a tiny box in the middle of the large 12.3-inch screen. This poor quality and tiny layout severely restrict visibility, making it dangerous to spot pedestrians or small kids when backing out of driveways. Toyota Corporate confirmed this is a universal design choice, meaning it is a model-wide defect creating an active safety hazard." Very dangerous, it needs to be updated.
We have been to the dealer 3 separate times for our ac not properly cooling. And also no air flow through out the van. As well as the rear driver passenger door button doesnt open all the time.

The factory-installed backup camera on my brand-new 2026 Toyota Sienna XSE has a critically low resolution, resulting in a deeply blurry, fuzzy, and pixelated image. Furthermore, the video feed is heavily letterboxed into a small rectangle in the middle of the large 12.3-inch screen. This poor image quality and tiny layout severely restrict rearward visibility, making it dangerous to spot pedestrians, obstacles, or small children when backing out of driveways. A local Toyota dealership inspected the system and confirmed it is operating 'as designed' by the factory, meaning this is a universal design defect on the vehicle model that creates a significant safety hazard.
