The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where diagnosed the brakes needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 77,905.
BRAKE FAILURES HAVE PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE, WITH THE LAST RESULTING IN AN UNAVOIDABLE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES. THE BRAKES LOCKED LOSING ALL BRAKING AND STEERING.
