Nova Bus LFS Recall 26V712: Fuel Hose May Separate, Causing Leak and Fire Risk

NHTSA campaign 26V712, reported October 27, 2026, 453 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain Nova Bus LFS and LFS Artic transit buses from 2022 through 2024 have remote fuel filter hoses that may separate from the fitting. This can cause a diesel fuel leak and an engine stall.

A fuel leak near an ignition source raises the risk of a fire, and an engine stall raises the risk of a crash. Owners of affected buses should take this seriously and have the vehicle inspected as soon as possible.

The remedy is free: Nova Bus will replace the fuel hoses at no cost. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 26, 2026. You can contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682, and you should check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
