Kalmar Ottawa T2 Recall 26V648: Electrical Short Can Cause Fire Even When Parked

NHTSA campaign 26V648, reported October 5, 2026, 16,127 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Kalmar will rewire the cabin power and add a 5A fuse to the printed circuit board circuit at no cost to you. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by December 4, 2026. You can also contact Kalmar customer service at 1-888-229-6300, selecting option 4, then option 2.
