What this recall means for you
Certain headlight assemblies may contain a contaminated LED chip. If this happens, daytime running lights, parking lights, high beams or low beams can stop working. The vehicles then no longer meet federal lighting safety requirements.
Lost exterior lighting makes it harder for other drivers to see your vehicle and reduces your own view of the road, which raises the risk of a crash. Watch for any lamp that is out or flickering, and have it checked promptly.
Dealers will inspect and replace the headlight assemblies as needed at no cost to you. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 26, 2026.
