Can-AM Spyder RT Recall 26V575: Instrument Display May Freeze or Go Blank, Hiding Speed and Warnings

NHTSA campaign 26V575, reported September 7, 2026, 14,014 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The touchscreen instrument cluster on certain Can-Am motorcycles may reset, freeze, or go blank. When that happens, critical safety information such as vehicle speed and warning lights may not be shown, which raises the risk of a crash.

The manufacturer says the affected vehicles also fail to meet federal motorcycle display and brake system requirements. Owner notification letters were mailed October 6, 2026. Owners can contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222 for more information.

The remedy is a software update to the instrument cluster, delivered over the air or by an authorized dealer, at no cost to you. Check your vehicle's VIN for open recalls and schedule the free update as soon as possible. VINs involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 22, 2026.
