- Marathon Industries Inc. (Marathon Industries) is recalling one 2025 Ford F-650 SD vehicle. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling.
- Risk
- A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Marathon Industries will work with the supplier, Hiab, to inspect the platform bushings and hydraulic systems and replace the deck pins, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 14, 2026. Owner may contact Marathon Industries' customer service at 1-661-286-1520.
What this recall means for you
The deck pins that hold the liftgate platform in place may break, which can cause the platform to fall without warning. A falling liftgate increases the risk of injury to anyone standing near or under it.
The repair is free. Marathon Industries, working with supplier Hiab, will inspect the platform bushings and hydraulic systems and replace the deck pins at no cost to you.
