What this recall means for you
The touch display on certain fire engines may stop responding to touch commands or fail to power on. When that happens, the driver cannot activate exterior emergency lights, fire fighting equipment, or other emergency systems.
Losing exterior lights can make the vehicle harder for other drivers to see, raising the risk of a crash. Equipment that cannot be switched on can also delay an emergency response, which could increase the risk of injury.
Owners should contact Marion Body Works customer service at 1-715-754-5261 for details. The remedy is free: Marion Body Works will work with Hale Products to update the firmware and install a monitor system. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in August 2026. Owners can also check their vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
