- Problem
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2025 Entegra Reatta XL, Reatta, 2026 Cornerstone Reserve, 2024-2026 Cornerstone, Aspire, and Anthem motorhomes built on certain Spartan K1, K2, and K4 chassis. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
- Risk
- Brake lights that remain on may fail to alert other vehicles of the driver's intention, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
What this recall means for you
Certain motorhomes may have exterior brake lights that stay illuminated when the driver is not pressing the brake pedal. This means the vehicle does not meet federal lighting safety requirements (FMVSS 108).
Because constant brake lights can fail to signal the driver's true intentions to other drivers, they can make it harder for following or nearby vehicles to read what you are doing, which increases the risk of a crash.
If your vehicle is affected, an authorized dealer will replace the pressure switch free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. You can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267, and you should check your VIN for open recalls.
