Ember E-Series Recall 26V469: Wrong VIN on label may hide recall notices

NHTSA campaign 26V469, reported July 21, 2026, 33 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2027 Ember travel trailers may have a Federal Certification Label that lists an incorrect Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The label is required to match the vehicle, so the wrong number makes it harder for owners to tell whether their trailer is covered by a safety recall, which raises the risk of a crash or injury.

Dealers will replace the affected labels free of charge. Ember will also mail replacement labels to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2026.

If you own one of these trailers, contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204 or visit an authorized dealer to have the label replaced. Check your VIN for open recalls as well.
