Blue Bird Vision Transit Bus Recall 26V467: Brake Line Can Leak Fluid, Raising Fire and Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 26V467, reported July 20, 2026, 29 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A cotter pin on the exhaust hanger may rub against the hydraulic brake line over time, damaging the line and causing a brake fluid leak.

A brake fluid leak can make stopping take longer, which raises the risk of a crash. If the leaking fluid reaches a hot engine or exhaust component, it can also increase the risk of a fire.

Authorized dealers will replace the exhaust hanger cotter pin and will inspect and replace brake lines as needed, all at no cost to owners. Owners can call Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242 and should check their VIN for open recalls.
